As the school year approaches, many parents are busy shopping for their children’s new supplies. From spiral notebooks to pens, these items are often found in lists of things students will need to have on the first day of school. However, what about those who don’t have the means to purchase all of these items? What about those whose families cannot afford to provide their children with these items?Â
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who donated to our school supply drive this year. Your contribution has made the first day of school very special for our students, and we couldn’t have done it without you! Thank you for helping us make this happen! We are so thankful that your gift will help us make learning more fun, organized, and educational for these kids who need our help so much. HIS House Children's Home
On August 8th, People Serving Empowering Communities (PSEC) had to privilege to serve the young boys at HIS House Children’s Home by providing the boys with back packs. They were filled with some of the basic essential and school supplies that would help them off to a good start.
His House Children’s Home is a private non-profit, faith-based organization dedicated to restoring the lives of children from newborn to 18 years of age. For over 31 years, His House has brought stability to the lives of over 20,000 children and remains a frontline provider of residential and child placement services. With a 232-bed capacity, His House cares for children removed from their home due to abandonment, abuse or neglect.Â
