Unless you have been living under a rock, you will know that the world is growing older. The millennial generation is fast becoming an older adult generation, and this has made serving seniors more important than ever before. As we get older as a society, we need people who are willing to devote their time to looking after us when we’re old. Serving seniors has become significantly more important in recent years. Today’s older generation is not only living longer than ever before, but they are also staying active and independent for longer as well.
Seniors make up an increasingly large part of the population in many areas today. While this can be seen as a double-edged sword, it also presents an opportunity to reach out and help those who may need it most. There are many ways to serve seniors, but you don’t have to be old to do so.Â
Today, PSEC had the opportunity to bless seniors in our community! After receiving a donation of various canned fruits and veggies, PSEC moved into action and found seniors within the community that were in need. We created boxes and delivered to seniors across the community.
